#SewcialDistancing

The #SewcialDistancing challenge was established in March 2020, in the UK, as a response to the Coronavirus lockdown. You can see more about the origins of #SewcialDistancing in my previous post. Welcome to my diary-like page of my #SewcialDistancing challenge!

Camp Blanket
23rd May 2020
I dug out the old camp blanket. Here is a quick look at just some of the many badges I need to move from one to the other.
Badges
16th May 2020
I have spent the day running around the house gathering up all the loose badges, and finally I have my collection! Last count: 50 badges waiting to be sewn on!
7th May 2020
The blanket is currently on its third wash, as the dye used for the colouring has quite a chemical smell to it. Trying desperately to rid the blanket of the odour with washing and sunlight. Unfortunately, the weather has not been playing ball, delaying the washing/drying process. We will get there!
Camp Blanket
30th April 2020
After years of finally meaning to do this, I ordered my brand new wool camp blanket to replace my fleece one. It has safely arrived in a beautiful zip bag. What is the betting that once removed it will never return to that bag of safe keeping?
